Kohki-en is a Japanese tea brand born from a desire to deliver true, uncompromising quality - crafted with integrity, rooted in the rich terroir of Kagoshima.
The inspiration for Kohki-en began with a single, unforgettable cup of tea-one that revealed a depth of umami and clarity we had never experienced before. This "aha!" moment, encountered at a specialist teahouse in Japan, opened our eyes to what tea could truly be.

Most teas sold in today's market fall short-not due to lack of tradition, but because of compromises in scale, sourcing, and storytelling. Kohki-en blends only carefully selected leaves from Kagoshima, Japan's largest teagrowing region, working closely with trusted artisans whose techniques are rarely found in everyday retail.
Ours is not mass production, nor is it inaccessible luxury. It is honest, small-batch excellence-made possible through a quiet partnership with leading Japanese tea makers.
With simple, minimal packaging and direct distribution, we strip away unnecessary cost so more people can access this authentic experience. A single sip of Kohki-en is meant to evoke Kagoshima's sunlight, soil and water-on intuitive connection to place and purity.
